This is My Story Interactive

We partnered with the Amistad Center for Art & Culture to create an interactive station for the exhibition This Is My Story, This is My Song: Writers, Musicians, and the Black Freedom Struggle in their newly renovated galleries.

The exhibition celebrates the work of African American writers and musicians like Paul Robeson, Richard Wright, and Marian Anderson, who have redefined the role of the public intellectual in our society through their professional work and advocacy.

The interactive exhibit showcases the physical artifacts within the gallery while examining their cultural, social, and historical significance of both the individuals and their achievements. Curatorial commentary and related objects encourage visitors to browse the collection by topic or timeline, gaining a deeper understanding of their significance on the Civil Rights Movement.
