Night Kitchen Interactive is thrilled to be working on the development of two interactive installations for the upcoming Secrets of the Silk Road exhibition at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. The traveling exhibition presents more than 150 objects spanning 3,000 years, and supports the museum’s mission to advance understanding of cultural heritage around the world and share that knowledge with visitors.
Through a touch-screen kiosk and an interactive multi-touch table, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to trace the origins of a word as it evolved into different languages over time, and explore the beauty and complexity of the Chinese language as they uncover the meaning of Chinese characters in a multi-player translation activity.
Secrets of the Silk Road will be on view at the Penn Museum from February 5th through June 5th, 2011.
