inspiration

In support of its eClinical initiative, Novo Nordisk approached Night Kitchen Interactive to develop a modular training course that provides learners with hands-on training on the use of the InForm Electronic Data Capture (EDC) tool and associated business processes.

With seven different user groups identified for this training, Night Kitchen Interactive’s custom solution allowed for role-based delivery of instruction and assessments. In addition, interactive process maps, animated diagrams, and illustrated characters were used to help learners understand the interdependence of their team members in the clinical data capture process.

design

Night Kitchen Interactive produced a role-based modular online course comprised of 30 modules, designed to provide accurate and effective assessment. As an added feature to this training, a pre-test module was also developed for each corresponding role-based assessment module so that learners will be able to demonstrate the required competencies and “test out” of training that they do not need.

interaction

System procedures were demonstrated through Watch-and-Learn software simulations and Try-it-Yourself simulated tasks. Three-tiered remediation was implemented to provide optimal learner feedback. Checks on learning, embedded surveys, and detailed reporting features were included to capture feedback and evaluate performance.
