A New Online Presence for the Smithsonian Institution Archives

We’ve partnered with the Smithsonian Institution Archives to create a new website centered on presenting the Institution’s archival resources and online collections while providing multiple opportunities to showcase SIA’s expertise through dedicated areas for exhibits and educational materials.
Our solution involved integrating the Drupal CMS with the Smithsonian Institution’s centralized data asset network (proprietary centralized collections management system and media delivery service). The new website establishes a cohesive online presence for the SIA and present the wide range of online resources in a manner that is intuitive and easily accessible to audiences, whether seeking assistance with preservation services or looking for archive materials from the institution’s history.
