Environmental Challenges: New Project with the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian

Night Kitchen Interactive has been selected for the design and development of the Environmental Challenges website for the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI). This educational website will demonstrate what four Native American communities are doing to restore the environment through a combination of traditional teachings and modern science. With lessons learned from the four case studies, resources and activities will be provided to challenge 5th-8th grade students to think about actions that they can take within their own communities.

Ultimately, the website will promote dialogue and interaction through the exchange of stories and community initiatives aimed at environmental restoration and preservation. The website is expected to launch in Spring 2011.
