Night Kitchen Welcomes New Team Members!

The Night Kitchen team has grown over the past year! Below are brief introductions to the new members who have brought a diversity of skills and experience to the team:

Stacey Mann, Director of Learning Strategies
Stacey brings over 15 years of experience in exhibit design and interpretive planning. She holds a Masters in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University and has a special interest in projects focused on human rights and social justice issues. Previous projects involved collaboration with the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, and the UN Refugee Agency.

Dave Rizzio, Senior Interactive Designer
Dave brings over 15 years of experience developing interactive and print projects for clients that include Johnson & Johnson, the Coca-Cola company, and Virtua Health Systems. He excels at approaching complex and daunting subjects in a fun, informative and approachable style for audiences of all ages.

Stephan van Ginhoven, Interactive Designer
Stephan joined Night Kitchen Interactive following a position as a graphic designer at an advertisement agency in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is passionate about working in the arts and culture community, and is excited to contribute his skills in web development and digital graphic production to the Night Kitchen team.

Tory Gobat, Developer
Tory received her B.S.E. in Digital Media Design from the University of Pennsylvania. She particularly enjoys developing the code that supports interactive web applications and creates an attractive and user-focused experience.

Kathy McHoes, Information Designer
Kathy graduated with an M.F.A. in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design from the University of the Arts. As Night Kitchen’s newest Information Designer, Kathy’s interdisciplinary background in art, science and history, enables her to creatively approach marketing, content management and information design projects from a variety of perspectives.

Emogene Schilling, Research Coordinator
Emogene graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College with distinction in Studio Art. She has applied her passion for the arts in Night Kitchen’s work with art museums, and contributes to the project team by way of research, business development, marketing, social media, and information design.

Janneken Smucker, Content Specialist
Having recently completed her doctorate in American Civilization from the University of Delaware, Janneken strives to share humanities content with diverse, public audiences by harnessing the use of new technologies, social media, and accessible language to make art, history, and culture come alive.
