A New Look for Connect.BarcodeofLife.net

Since its launch a little over a year ago, the Connect social network for DNA barcoding professionals has gained over 700 members.
In response to audience feedback, Night Kitchen Interactive collaborated with the Consortium for the Barcode of Life once again to further enhance visitor experience.
With the abundance of resources and conversations occurring on the site, an key enhancement was to allow a variety of content to be dynamically featured on the home page. In addition, the home page was redesigned to immediately allow members to engage in the following activities:
- Start discussions in the online forum
- Learn about upcoming events
- Join interest-specific groups
- Upload documents, photos, and videos
- Add a post to a consolidated DNA barcoding blog
- Access "new member" information in order to quickly get acquainted with the site
The redesigned site makes it easier for DNA barcoding professionals around the world to communicate with their colleagues and stay current in an ever-changing field.
