Fisher Presents at the NAEA Conference

Entitled Breaking New Ground: Traveling the Rocky Road of Innovation panelists Matthew Fisher of Night Kitchen Interactive, Ruth Slavin from the University of Michigan Museum of Art, Marianna Adams from Audience Focus, and Marek Walczek from Kinecity, will discuss taking on high-risk, low certainty projects, the nature of collaboration when outcomes are unknown or evolving, and connecting museum-based technology projects with Web 2.0.

The DialogTable is a unique social learning tool for multiple users for which Night Kitchen Interactive crafted 32 short movies and developed a companion website. Totaling over 70 minutes of footage, the engaging short films showcase multiple voices and approaches in a thought-provoking, creative manner. The companion website makes innovative use of social media tools, allowing users to tag works of art in the museum’s collection and submit ideas for new movies, all building towards a communal dialog and maintaining the DialogTable as a forum for fresh, relevant stories. Read the case study for more on this project.
