2010 has been a great year so far for Night Kitchen! It has been wonderful to receive recognition for our innovative projects, and the recent news that our Discover the Real George Washington interactive timeline was honored with an Interactive Media Award is no exception.
Developed for the Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, the Real George Washington timeline brings to life our first president with a rich array of multimedia displays and activities, taking visitors on an engaging journey through the history of a fascinating life.
Receiving a score of 477 points out of a possible 500, Discover the Real George Washington timeline was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in the Education category. Of 86 entries, only 6 candidates were designated "Outstanding Achievements" and we are honored that the project was so well received.
