2010 fall internships:

12 weeks from September to December - start and end days are flexible

For credit: 10-15 hours a week, no stipend OR
Full time: 40 hours a week, $3,000 stipend

requirements
A background or strong interest in American history, science, art history and/or museums. The candidate should have strong writing, communication and critical thinking skills and be comfortable using basic social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, blogging, etc.).

responsibilities
Primary tasks will involve gathering and preparing site content and working collaboratively with the team. The intern will also be expected to do a range of general administrative tasks, including but not limited to: archiving, mailings, data and word processing.
