Interactive Designer

Night Kitchen Interactive seeks a talented Interactive Designer to work with our creative team developing online exhibits, interactive installations and websites for museums, arts and cultural organizations and corporations. Learn, grow and make an impact in a creative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in interactive design industry.
• Undergraduate degree in design or art-related field.
• Strong design, composition and typography skills.
• Ability to work in a professional business environment and to clearly communicate with associates and clients.
• Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of the interactive development process though no coding is required. This is a design position, not a programming position.
• Talent in video, animation and illustration a plus.

Duties

• Work with Creative Director and the rest of the team to produce engaging interactive experiences.
• Design layouts, interfaces, animations, information and content graphics.
• Create design style guides specifications and communicate closely with the development team.
• Develop interface wireframes detailing content organization and interactive features.
• Attend client meetings, review proposals and perform content and visual research.

Compensation
