Interactive Art Director
Night Kitchen Interactive (www.whatscookin.com) seeks a talented Interactive Art Director to design online exhibits, interactive installations and websites for museums, arts and cultural organizations, and corporations. Make an impact in a creative and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in interactive design industry.
- Degree in design or art-related field.
- Strong drawing, design, composition and typography skills.
- Expertise in information design and user experience design.
- Ability to work in a professional business environment and to clearly communicate with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clear understanding of the interactive development process though no coding is required. This is a design position, not a programming position.
- Passion for cultural, history and art institutions.
- Talent in video editing, animation and illustration a plus.
Duties
- Work with clients and internal team to design engaging interactive experiences.
- Develop interface wireframes detailing content organization and interactive features.
- Design layouts, interfaces, animations, information and content graphics.
- Create design style guides and specifications and communicate closely with the development team.
- Explore new and innovative technologies that expand our capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of proposals.
