Research Coordinator
Emogene Schilling graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College with distinction in Studio Art. Emogene has worked with various non-profit organizations in the capacity of an educator, writer, and content developer. In working with the Walker Art Center, she collaborated with Family and Community Programs to develop educational, museum-centric programs for families inspired by the Walker’s exhibits. Her passion for art and education has led to a variety of experiences, including a grant-funded project in Tokyo, Japan, where she met with artists and made artwork inspired by cultural exchange. Emogene currently manages projects and contributes to the project team by way of business development, marketing, and research. In addition to her work with Night Kitchen, Emogene is a practicing visual artist who often collaborates with Philadelphia-based artists, performers, and musicians.
