The Night Kitchen Interactive-designed website for Reach Out and Read Greater Philadelphia launched today. The site allows visitors to donate online, buy tickets to the annual fundraiser, and discover key tips on how to help young children build a lifetime love of reading. “In addition to offering easy tips for building literacy-rich childhoods, our website will help us target key supporters so that Reach Out and Read Greater Philadelphia can continue to build on its successes,” said Kristen Kucharczuk, the Associate Medical Director of Reach Out and Read Greater Philadelphia in ROR GP’s announcement (PDF) of the launch. The website was the result of a grant from The 25th Century Foundation.
The Rosenbach Museum & Library has selected Night Kitchen Interactive for its 21st Century Abe project, a website and blog that will interpret Abraham Lincoln’s legacy for an audience in their teens and twenties. Night Kitchen Interactive will make visitor-participation a key highlight of this innovative project: Visitors will not only be able to view the Rosenbach’s collection of rare and significant Lincoln materials, but also contribute their own creative responses to the themes they evoke.
