Inspiration

CAPS Research, the global standard for supply management research, wanted to target its top-tier audience of Fortune 1000 executives and leading academics with an easily-searchable archive of its articles, reports, and presentations.

Narration

Night Kitchen Interactive’s two-tired approach provided a thorough reorganization of 800+ materials into Knowledge Central, a wiki-based website. In addition, Night Kitchen Interactive developed marketing initiatives — including an online tutorial and messaging points — to help target CAPS executive tier members with the new knowledgebase, build user enthusiasm and drive usage.

Design

Incorporating Confluence Wiki, Night Kitchen created a visually appealing, intuitive, easily-updated archive of materials. Simple keyword searches yield quick results while advanced search options allow users to efficiently filter results.

Night Kitchen Interactive’s design of Knowledge Central also incorporated existing marketing materials to reinforce brand identity and cohesiveness. To build user enthusiasm, Night Kitchen created 5-minute online demo. A branded PowerPoint presentation then helped market the new website to potential new members.

Interaction

The incorporation of Confluence Wiki eases content management and provides a platform for CAPS to build collaboration and participation among its executive tier memberships.
