Inspiration
The Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL) sought to establish a cohesive online presence to promote a greater understanding and collaboration among global institutions dedicated to the advancement of DNA barcoding initiatives.
Narration
The global network of DNA barcoding scholars now has a central hub. Utilizing a Ning platform to allow researchers around the world to chime in on the conversation, Connect.BarcodeOfLife.net promotes informed, lively discussions around the newest developments in the field.
Design
Timely information is brought to the forefront in BarcodeofLife.org, a dynamic new website that makes the latest information, peer-reviewed publications, and updates from the Ning community easily accessible to a global community of scholars.
Interaction
With the goal of improving the ways in which members of its global research community can collaborate, both websites not only provide a wealth of information on DNA barcoding, but also facilitate the exchange of ideas between scientists, researchers, and anyone passionate about the field of DNA barcoding.
